Laundry Helper

Hallie loves to help with the laundry. Pretty much anytime I go into the laundry room, Hallie isn't too far behind. She loves to sort the laundry, put the soap and clothes in the washer, and put the wet clothes in the dryer (and even more so, closing the dryer door). Hopefully she'll always love to laundry, because it is definitely one of my least favorite jobs, especially the putting away.

She hasn't quite figured out which way to dump it, so it typically ends up like this. Then we just shake her so the soap goes in the washer. As you can see she thinks its great.

Everytime we go into Hallie's bedroom she runs into her tepee, and yells, "Hallie! Hallie!", meaning she wants us to say her name and look for her. Then she always peeks her cute little face out of the window looking for us. It really is quite darling, and funny. What a crack up.

A few weeks ago we went over to one of Eric's co-workers house for dinner, and games. Here Hallie is playing Rockband. :)

The mall here has an indoor treehouse playground that we sometimes go to to play. Hallie has a lot of fun there.

Eagle Adventures

My mom and dad have been going to watch the eagles in Lake Shore for awhile, so a couple weeks we decided to go test our luck. After a large detour clear out to Lincoln Beach, we found a few. I think we were a little early in the day, but we got some neat pictures.

Look how huge that eagle is sitting in that tree. If you look close you can see other little birds in the tree to compare it too.

Breathing Treatments

Every four hours we had to give Hallie a breathing treatment. She hated it at first, but she was better with it by the end. She learned if she sat their we'd let her watch Elmo uninterrupted. :)

Sick and Tired

This was when Hallie was the most sick, she just completely crashed out on the chair, which she very rarely does. Luckily she's feeling so much better! I think we've beat the sick this time around! FINALLY!

To change things up a bit, we had an indoor picnic of quesadillas, carrots, and apples. It was fun, and Hallie thought it was quite the treat.

Hallie still loves her books, and I love that she loves it. Lately her favorites are her Elmo books, but pretty much anything Elmo is her favorite right now. She also is starting to really like the Paper Bag Princess, she loves the noises we make in that book.

I just thought it was funny that she just plopped herself down on the kitchen floor with a pile of books. Sounds like a good place to read to me.
