Even though Hallie would prefer her hands to her binky, she hasn't quite figured out how to keep her hands still enough to suck on them yet, so for now her binky is a good stand it. Eric was teasing her with it the other day, and we thought it was super cute (we may be biased though), so we thought we'd share the video.

Fall is coming!
Last Saturday I somehow talked Eric into missing the first part of the BYU v. Wyoming football game to go drive the Alpine Loop. This is one of my very most favorite things to do this time of year, it is so neat to see all the colors changing. I just love it! The colors were just barely starting to change, so in a week or so I'm sure it'll be absolutely gorgeous with all of the pretty fall leaves. But it was fun, and pretty drive nonetheless.
Eric has discovered a new love for Aspen trees, we have lots of pictures of them now.

One Month Old! Can you believe it?!
Miss Hallie Mae is one month old today! I can hardly believe it! Where has the last month gone? It has been such a great month though, and we wouldn't change it for anything!
Hallie...
-constantly has the hiccups
-is being treated for thrush, which has led to some LONG nights
-is starting to smile
-went to BYU campus for the first time
-met her Great Grandma Peterson, who couldn't stop kissing her
-had her first photo shoot and family pictures
-is still trying to figure out how to keep her hands still eonough to suck on them, but her binky works for now
(More pictures to come later)

Doctor Round 2
After noticing that Hallie's belly button wasn't quite right, we decided to take her to the doctor today. We found out that she has an umbilical hernia, which is what we suspected. But the big news of the day...Hallie is now 11 lbs. 3 oz.! Holy cow! Granted she had just eaten and had a wet diaper, but still that's 1 lb. 5 oz. more than a week ago!
FYI: the hernia should take care of itself, no need to worry!

Week 3
Ok, so I know I'm a few days behind, and I've posted some of this already, but I figure we'd share the update anyway!
Hallie...
-got her first piece of mail addressed to her :)
-had her first doctors appointment
-finally has a completed bedroom
-had her first non-sponge bath
-has been eating A LOT!
-went to church for the first time, and did very well (even though we had a leaky diaper!)
-took her first trip to Genola to play with her cousins
-is loved more and more every day!
Some of my hundreds of pictures...

The infamous sleeper!
Genola
Saturday, we all went and helped Adam & Erica get their yard ready for grass...some of us were more helpful than others! (Sorry about that! :)) But the girls had fun playing!

Cute little Emi
Audrey & Lizzie driving the car
Whitney even got to feed Hallie her lunch! She did such a good job!
And Hallie slept!
Except when she played with her elephant for a little while. Who we are sad to say is MIA!...the elephant that is!

Labor Day at Grandma & Grandpa's
For Labor Day we all had a fun time playing, making tu-tu's, and enjoying every one's company. Hope yours was great too!
Hallie's Little Corner of the World
I guess Hallie knew if she had to wait for us to finish her room she would have had to wait a very long time! We finally got it finished...at least as finished as it's going to get for now. We are still waiting on her quilt to get back from being quilted, but the rest of the bedding is done! In all reality it obviously isn't too critical that her room is completely done, because she spends very little time in there, if any! But we think it turned out cute anyway.

Look How Big I Am!
Hallie had her first doctor appointment yesterday and all went very well. Hallie is now 9 lbs 14 oz, & 22 1/2 inches long! This puts her in the 90th percentile for weight and head size, and the 100th percentile for length.
On the way to the Doctor's office
