Dance Party!

1.13.2011

One day Hallie asked if she could dance, so we turned on some music and we all had a fun little dance party. We all had a lot of fun. And I hate to admit it but Eric and I both felt it the next day. We must really be getting old. :)

Snail Rolls

1.13.2011

One of Hallie's favorite things to do is to put her apron on and help me make dinner. She also happens to love rolls. So instead of making them from scratch, which I do occasionally, we bought croissant dough. Hallie loved rolling them up like a snail.

BYU Basketball

1.8.2011

This past year we have been really lucky to get to go to a lot of BYU sporting events, and basketball is always a favorite. We got tickets to go to see BYU play Air Force and we were all very excited to go.
Well, kind of. If you can't tell, Hallie was having a little bit of a rough day, so we didn't even make it to the game until half time, and she was a grouch!
Alls she cared about was watching the game, no pictures, no talking, no anything, just sitting and watching. Oh well, I think we all have those days.

After the game we headed out to head home, and watch them ring the victory bell.

Even though we had a grump on our hands, it was still fun to go.

What on Earth?

1.5.2011

Yes, Hallie was eating her french fries with her toes...and did we stop her? Of course not, we took pictures instead. :)

Dunk-a-roo-skee

1.5.2011

Hallie loves to play basketball with her daddy, and she especially loves to do "dunk-a-roo-skees." I have no idea where they got that name from but it is hilarious to hear Hallie say it, and watch her do it.

She takes her basketball seriously. :)

12 of 12 - February

2.12.2011

My sister does this on her blog and I really like it so, we are going to start doing it too. But on the 12th of each month (assuming I remember), you take 12 pictures throughout the day, then post them. It is a fun way to see how a typical day goes. I think it's really fun, and I'm really hoping that I remember to do it.

Marbulous!

1.1.11

For Christmas Hallie got a marble shoot from her cousin's, and she LOVES it!...as does Eric. They have a lot of fun together with it and Hallie asks frequently to get her marbles out. Though unfortunatley I am not nearly as good at building it as her daddy. :)

New Years Eve

12.31.2010

What did we do on New Years Eve dressed like this?

Swimming of course!
This little girl LOVES to swim! She asks all the time if we can go swimming, so we thought that since Eric had the day off that we would go. Well we told Hallie that we were going and then realized her swimsuit no longer fit. We couldn't tell her that we couldn't go anymore, so off I went to the store to buy a swimsuit in December with snow on the ground. That when everyone buys swimsuits right? Luckily I found one I really liked out of the two that Old Navy had.

Not long after going in the pool, the bucket dumped on them. It used to have a bell that rang before it dumped, but it doesn't do that anymore for some reason, so they were caught a little off guard.

Eric was trying to convince Hallie that that was, in fact, fun...I'm not sure how successful he was.

Splashing

This is how Hallie looks the whole time we are in the swimming pool. She is just thrilled to be there, and never is ready to leave.

Soon enough, they had to do a pool check and we had to get out for a little bit.

We got back in and swam a bit more, but Hallie started to get tired and cold, so we headed out. Hallie conked out within a block of getting in the car. A sign that it was a fun trip.

Well, Hallie wasn't the only tired one. We all went to sleep super early that night, and we didn't even ring in the New Year...we must be getting old. :)
