200 Pictures of the 2 Year Old...

...almost. So we know I love to have new pictures done, so for Hallie's birthday I had our friend Sarah do some pictures of our Little Miss. Hallie did NOT want to cooperate, and was kind of grumpy but we still got some very cute pictures. Thanks Sarah!

Pioneer Day: Part II

After having all sorts of fun at the splash pad with the Hopkins, we went home and let Hallie took a nap, then off we went to meet the Clark's at the Owlz baseball game. Eric works with Dave at BYU, and we love hanging out with them. We had a lot of fun. About halfway through the game we found Stacie and her family, so we watched the second half of the game with them.

The Orem Owlz. Unfortunately they got clobbered 12-2, but it's always fun to go.

And to end the night, there were fireworks!

Hallie LOVED them, and loved sitting with Megan. Hallie asks all the time to go watch the fireworks. It was neat because they pretty much fire them right on top of you. So they are super close, and they are choreographed really well.

Pioneer Day: Part I

On July 24th every year the State of Utah celebrates the pioneers entering the Salt Lake Valley, so it's always a good excuse to play. We had a very fun packed day.

To begin the day, we met up with Kelly, Derrick, and Bryce, and we went up to Highland to play at their splash pad. It's a pretty fun one, but I think Hallie and Bryce had more fun playing in the little stream they had. Then we went to lunch at Rubio's, and ate fish tacos.

We had a great time with them, and it's always fun to see them.

Hallie was kind of hesitant about the sprays.

How to Train Your Dragon

We took Hallie to see How to Train Your Dragon at the dollar movie, with Ange and Chad, but we didn't realize that it was in 3D. She wasn't so sure of it at the beginning, but she ended up having a lot of fun and loved watching the dragons. After it was over she asked to see it again.

Neilsen's Grove Park

This is such a fun park. They have swings, ducks, grass, a water fountain, and a fun path. We love to go to this park but we just don't think about it very often.

Pancakes

We decided to make pancakes for dinner one night and Hallie wanted to mix it up. She thought that was oh so fun. (I think our camera is dying, it is kind of starting to wash everything out)

We've been trying to be better about taking Hallie to the library, because she loves it, and it's a good excuse to get out of the house. Here she is all ready to go. Don't ask where this cheesy smile came from. :)

Meet Hughbert

This is Hughbert. Angela's classroom pet. He is just itty bitty, and we love him!

Errand of Angels

I just finished reading this little book, it's a quick one, I read it in about 15 minutes. It is a neat book full of beautiful artwork and inspiring words. But more than anything it was an answer to prayer. There were two quotes that were truly what I needed to hear, and wanted them to be somewhere where they could be easily found, so here they are.
