After noticing that Hallie's belly button wasn't quite right, we decided to take her to the doctor today. We found out that she has an umbilical hernia, which is what we suspected. But the big news of the day...Hallie is now 11 lbs. 3 oz.! Holy cow! Granted she had just eaten and had a wet diaper, but still that's 1 lb. 5 oz. more than a week ago!
FYI: the hernia should take care of itself, no need to worry!

BIG GIRL! I can't wait to meet her! :) Lizzy had one of those hernias too. They actually had to fix it but it was a breeze. Give that baby a big kiss!
holy cow she's almost the same size as jacob but he's almost 11 weeks old! Wowsa! How's school with a baby? I start in two weeks so I'm way nervous

okay for the bath time blanket trick: just get a piece of fleece (like the size of a small receiving blanket) and wrap her up in it before you put her in the water. then just bathe her like normal, unwrapping the part that you're going to wash and then cover it back up when you're done. it sounds crazy, but I think it really works! it did for us anyway. i guess the fleece keeps them warm even though it's wet. weird...but definitely worth a try!
