Eric's Grandma Waters

Last Friday Eric's grandma had a massive stroke, and passed away on Tuesday evening. So Eric is in Oregon for the weekend to attend the funeral, while I hang out at home. Definitely not the happiest reason for him to visit family, but he was glad that he was able to go.

Utah Flash!

On Saturday night we were invited to go to the Utah Flash game, and we got to sit on the second row ( our friends were given the tickets from work.) It was actually a lot of fun, and we were both quite impressed with the team, even though they lost. And one of the players for the Flash, Eric played against in high school...small world! And my favorite highlight...FlashFox sled down the bleachers right next to us. :) Oh, and Eric got glasses!

Here we are! Yes, we are cheezers!

I know this isn't a very good picture, but the guy in black and red, Eric played against in high school.

Thank you Chad and Angela!

Angela and Chad suprised us with this super cute shelf that they made us! We are very excited about it, and we just need to finish it so we can hang it up! So thank you Ange and Chad!

Our New Apartment

We are so excited to be in our apartment, even though we still are not completely unpacked, it is to the point where it is livable. So just ignore the mess for now! :)

The second bedroom, eventually the baby's room. It really is a lot bigger than it looks here, this is just the pile of stuff we haven't unpacked yet!:

Our bedroom, super messy right now,

YAY! We finally have a laundry room, no more laundry in the hallway!:
Our Rubber Ducky bathroom:
Our Living Room with new slipcovers for our chairs, we're still waiting for the one for the couch:

This is our kitchen (my favorite part):

Boy or Girl?

So for those of you who are wondering, we have an ultrasound scheduled for April 7 at 3:30 pm to find out if we are having a boy or girl. As of right now Eric thinks it is a girl, and I don't have a clue (and in reality I don't care either way). But we will send out a mass text or something for those who want to know!

Moving!!!

Yesterday I got a call from a friend that lives at a complex we've been trying to get into, saying that someone was trying to sell their contract right away and that if we wanted it to call right away. So after some very quick disscussion we decided to go for it. Now we are working on selling our contract, and getting ready to move next Saturday. This is exciting and all, but when you aren't expecting a move that quick your mind goes in about three million directions. That and the more I've thought about it the more I realize how much I really like the apartment we are in, but I know that it is the right thing to do and that it make very little sense to stay where we are. I guess that we are moving and trying to get everything in line while keeping up with school. I'm sure it'll be great, and it's definitely better than moving in August right?

Lots of Changes Coming Our Way!

For those who I have missed, here is the exciting news at our house! We are expecting a baby, YAY! As of right now our official due date is September 1, 2008, but honestly I think the nurse did it wrong, cause I've figured it many other ways and still come up with August 23rd, so who knows?!
So with this exciting news it has changes a few plans and created some new ones. Rather than taking a vacation we'll probably just hang out here and go to school, so that I won't have to go to school fall semester. We were planning on staying in our apartment another year or so, but now we find ourselves looking for a bigger apartment. (My poor family, we've made them help us move twice already!) But for some reason I don't think our little one bedroom apartment will work out so well. One really exciting thing, at least for me, is looking for a new car! Simply because putting a baby in the back seat of our little Honda kinda worries me, so we're looking for a new car. I had previously quit my job, so now Eric is trying to balance full-time work and full-time school so that we can pay bills, and eventually have a job that Eric will like better.
But anyway, I'm sure there will be many more changes than that, but those are the few highlights. I sure hope that things will go smoothly and everything will work out.
