Genola

Saturday, we all went and helped Adam & Erica get their yard ready for grass...some of us were more helpful than others! (Sorry about that! :)) But the girls had fun playing!

Whitney even got to feed Hallie her lunch! She did such a good job!
And Hallie slept!

Except when she played with her elephant for a little while. Who we are sad to say is MIA!...the elephant that is!

Labor Day at Grandma & Grandpa's

For Labor Day we all had a fun time playing, making tu-tu's, and enjoying every one's company. Hope yours was great too!

Hallie's Little Corner of the World

I guess Hallie knew if she had to wait for us to finish her room she would have had to wait a very long time! We finally got it finished...at least as finished as it's going to get for now. We are still waiting on her quilt to get back from being quilted, but the rest of the bedding is done! In all reality it obviously isn't too critical that her room is completely done, because she spends very little time in there, if any! But we think it turned out cute anyway.

Look How Big I Am!

Hallie had her first doctor appointment yesterday and all went very well. Hallie is now 9 lbs 14 oz, & 22 1/2 inches long! This puts her in the 90th percentile for weight and head size, and the 100th percentile for length.

Two Weeks!

Well here's the update (sorry for the MASSIVE post):
-Hallie passed her hearing test
-Hallie found her lungs! She still doesn't use them very often, pretty much only when she is STARVING, and realized she slept too long.
-We are still getting close to 4 hours of sleep at a time...keep your fingers crossed
-Hallie has discovered her hair, and occasionally strokes it (see video below)
-We took our first family outing to the Springville Quilt Show yesterday, it was a quick in and out, but worth the trip.
-Eric introduced Hallie to BYU football yesterday, and insisted she wore her BYU outfit ALL DAY!
-Hallie has her first doctor appointment on Tuesday

SLEEPING....as always

FYI: in case you were wondering...this picture is shortly after Hallie threw up all over her bed, and she does not sleep in our bed... I was cleaning her bed up :)

Back to School

So as much as we all denied the day would come...it has. Eric started back at Utah Valley University (that just sounds weird :)) today, and like any other semester you think you have everything all figured out only to go to your first class and realize it just isn't going to work. So I have spent the last two hours trying to find Eric a new class, because his english class just isn't what he thought it was going to be. Even though getting back into the routine of school, and having Hallie could be interesting, I'm sure it will be fine. It has just been so nice to not have to worry about school this summer.

In case you were wondering BYU doesn't start until September 2nd, and I am just planning on taking 6 credits on-line (at least that's the plan for now). Eric may end up taking a class up at BYU if we can get everything worked out with admissions, but it may not be until next semester.

One Week & Our Little Squeaker

Today was my official due date, but a week ago today Hallie joined us, can you believe it?! Because I sure can't! We have had such a great week with her, and she has been such a joy in our lives. Hallie has continued to be such a relaxed baby, and makes our life easy as parents. We sure do love her.

Since the day she was born Hallie has never been much of a crier, just a squeaker. She doesn't necessarily squeak cause she needs anything either, sometimes she just does because she can. This was the case this morning. So we thought we'd share. Sorry it's a little fuzzy, we don't have a video camera, so this is just off of our normal camera...
