Done with Finals!

I just finished my last final of the semster! Yipee!....too bad Eric hasn't even started finals yet. :-/

It Great to be 8 months old

Happy 8 Months Baby Girl!

Hallie....

-is quite the mover/busy-body, and can get anywhere she wants by rolling, twisting, or spinning

-is working on crawling

-gets stuck at least once a day in some sort of furniture, yesterday she got her head stuck under my mom's couch :)

-is getting into everything she can, and we have to keep the house cleaner than usual

(though you wouldn't know that to look at it now)

-has a tooth!

-is a little chatter-box; she says/yells "ma ma ma ma ma" or "da da da da da"

-got her first pony tail yesterday, and by the end of the day figured out how to get it out

-loves her nap time...usually

-is getting quite particular about her blankets, only fluffy ones for this little princess

-sleeps with her face in the corner of her crib

-her favorite toys right now is paper and pens

-has the most darling laugh in the entire world

-has been swimming twice

-loves people

-tries to roll off of the changing table any time you try to change her diaper

-is really good at putting her arms through her clothes when you dress her

-has almost survived a semester with Mom in school, and loves to play with Grandma

-started eating fruit, and other snacks

-is a little snuggle bug when she is tired
-still loves to be outside, but will not keep sunglasses on her face for anything

-is the love of our lives, and makes us so happy

First Tooth!

Today we discovered Hallie has a tooth! We haven't actually seen it, but you can feel it for sure!

My niece, Lauren, had lost her first tooth earlier today. When we found Hallie's tooth, Lauren quite decisively told me that she had given her tooth to Hallie. What a funny little girl!

Visitors

Thursday night Clayton (Eric's brother), Corrie, Jessica & Cheyenne stopped and stayed the night with us, on their way to New Mexico. It was so fun to see them, and for them to meet Hallie. Even though it late, we woke Hallie up for a little bit to say hi. Hallie had so much fun, and the girls entertained her and played with her toys with her. Hallie really liked Cheyenne, and talked to her...it must be the red hair. :) We are so glad they were able to come. We love you guys!

Snow again?!

Why?! It is April, and we have snow on the ground. Ya, definitely not okay with that. But what can ya do? Deal with it I guess. It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have gorgeous weather last week. Hopefully it is the last snow of the season, but I'm not holding my breath. :) Oh well, I guess we better enjoy it while it lasts, cause we aren't going to change it.
