Candy Necklace
After Erica's baby shower last Saturday Grandma gave Hallie a candy necklace. We all figured she'd just leave it be and wear it as a necklace. No, she figured out very quickly that she could eat it, and she LOVED it! We don't give her sweets very often, mostly because we don't think to, and partly because there is still so much to worry about with her allergies. But she thought it was quite the treat.

BYU Christmas Party with the Samuelson's
Every year, President and Sister Samuelson do a big Christmas party for all of the employees at BYU, they have entertainment, crafts, games, Cosmo, and Santa. We headed up on Saturday, thinking we could go see Santa there, but unfortunately we waited forever, and had to leave before Hallie could go sit on his lap. So we have a picture with him in the background. :) We had a good time overall though, it's always a fun time.

Ouchy!
The other day (12/2/2009) Hallie went running out from her bedroom into the hallway, tripped over something, and fell into the door frame. It was a very loud crack sound, and I though it was for sure her head was split open. Luckily it wasn't but she got a pretty good goose-egg and bruise. But luckily she's fine, and after a good long cry, it didn't bother her again.

First walking ouchy!

15 Months
On Thursday we took Hallie to her 15 month well baby visit. Here are the stats:
Weight: 25 lbs 13 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 31.5 inches (80th percentile)
Head: 49 cm (100th percentile)
The doctor said she is doing great, and growing well.
We've backed clear off milk, and are back to full soy. Hallie just wasn't sleeping (waking up 2 or 3 times a night), and not such a happy camper. So for now milk is on hold. We'll probably try it again in a week or so, and just take it very slow.

New Moon Girls Night!
Yes, you may call us Twi-hard. We had a very fun girls night out to go to the New Moon opening night, and we had a blast. We started out with dinner at Gloria's Little Italy, which was delicious. Then headed out to the theater 3 hours before the show started, and froze! The things we do for fun. :)
Megan and Lauren at dinner
This was the line of people waiting to go into the theater, and we were 3 hours early! The line started in front of those trees with Christmas lights on them. People had tents, sleeping bags, camping chairs, space heaters, and whatever they would need for the stay. Some people take this very seriously I guess. I thought we were bad....Luckily they let us in the theater to wait around 10 pm, for the 12:02 am showing, so we didn't freeze to the parking lot.
All the girls before we set out.
