CASA Graduation

This handsome guy is now officially a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). After a few weeks of training he should shortly be assigned a few cases. Essentially, he will be assigned to between one and three teenage boys and will become the eyes and ears for the judge. It will be such a great opportunity for him, and a great way to be involved in the field he is so passionate about.

Swimming at Grandma's House

While Rob and Kelsie were in Washington DC Emi and Lizzie stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and invited Hallie to come up and swimming in the backyard. They had a blast!

Freezer Jam

One night I got super motivated and there were some great deals on berries so I decided to make some freezer jam. For some reason I thought it would be a lot harder and a lot more work, but it is SO easy. I love it! It's a great thing! There will be a lot more freezer jam at our house.

Grocery Helper

Hallie has hit that point where if Eric isn't around, we just don't go grocery shopping. Typically I leave both of them home, it's just easier that way. But Eric LOVES WINCO, and wanted Tillamook ice cream (WINCO is the only place in Utah to buy it), so we all went and did a fairly large shopping trip. Hallie got fidgety in the shopping cart and wanted me to carry her, and I told her no. After some major whining, and a long talk, Hallie and I came to an agreement, she could get out of the cart as long as she held onto the cart.
She loved to push the cart, and was being such a big helper. It actually worked out quite well.
