Slide and Box

10.8.2010

One day we were bored, so we made a slide for Hallie's toys. She thought it was great to put her toys down the slide into the pot and listen to the different sounds they made. It was a fun learning activity for her.

Then we found a box...

And they were entertained for a long time. :) Boxes really are the greatest toys

Stewart Falls

10.2.2010

Conference weekend Kelsie and Rob invited us to go hike Stewart Falls with them and enjoy the Fall colors. So we dropped Hallie off to play with Emi, Lizzie and Alisa at my parents and off we went.

It was a beautiful day, and a beautiful hike.

Thanks Rob and Kelsie! We had a great time!

Squash

9.26.2010
This picture cracks me up.

Hallie insisted on cooking the squash she picked at Grandma's house, which I did...she at one bite and spit it back out

Grandma Adam's Birthday and Horses

9.25.2010

The weekend of my Grandma's birthday we all got together again. We looked at fun pictures, had lunch and cake, played, and took balloons to the cemetery. It was fun to see all the family we don't see too often.

Hallie had a lot of fun, and LOVED going and see the horses. I think that she got pretty much everyone to take her over there to see them.

Tired Monkey

9.18.2010
We went to Iggy's to watch a BYU football game, and Hallie was exhausted. She never falls asleep anywhere but her carseat and her bed, so we were shocked that she fell asleep in such a busy, loud place.

Allergist, Round 2

9.17.2010

On the morning of the 17th of September we woke up very early...okay early for us, it was probably like 7:30 am or something, and we headed back to Dr. Hendershot's office for a food challenge.

Can you tell she was tired?

We stopped on the way and picked up an egg mcmuffin from McDonalds, the healthiest option I'm sure. But that's what the doctor recommended, so we went with it. :)

After getting all checked in, and back in our room, Dr. Hendershot told her to eat her sandwich. Which Hallie was all to eager to do. She took her first bite and said, "this is great!" it was very cute.
First bite of egg ever.
Hallie ate the entire sandwich! That's a lot for a two year old! But after she finished her sandwich it was the waiting game. So we played with toys for awhile.
I had planned on being there for a few hours, like we had been told, but Hallie did so well that we weren't even there an hour. So Hallie can eat egg now! Happy day! She still doesn't eat much straight eggs, but just the fact that she can eat things with eggs in them is great! We are so excited!

Busy, busy, busy...

Yes, we are still alive. :) And yes, I am still insanely behind on blogging.

But, this is why...
My first craft fair was today. It has been a lot of work, and in a few hours we will see if it paid off.

Anyway, long story short, I'll try and get caught up ASAP. :)
