Go Cougars!

11.20.2010

Even though we haven't bought season tickets for BYU football since Hallie has been born, I think Eric has been offered tickets to nearly every home game this year. When BYU played New Mexico, Patrick, who Eric works with, was able to get sideline passes and tickets for him and some friends so he took Hallie to her first BYU football game.

It was a cold day, and it was supposed to snow that day, so they all got bundled up.

Ready to go.

Go Cougars!
She was in heaven. Hallie LOVES to watch football with her daddy, so she loved being up close and personal, and has asked numerous times since to go to the football game.
Cosmo Cougar! Hallie loves seeing him too.

FYI, I made that canopy when I was working for the BYU Upholstery shop. :)

Turkey Dinner

11.19.2010

We have this turkey decoration that sits out by our front door, but we got some pretty good wind one day so I brought it in. Hallie thought that he was her new friend, and she even fixed him lunch.
He was quite obviously thirsty after having such a big meal.
Don't you feed your turkey before Thanksgiving?

Look What I Found

11.12.2010

A few weeks ago we did a baby shower for my friend Megan. I had made some cookies, and was waiting for the glaze on them to dry, so I was working on something in the bedroom. Well in a few minutes in came Hallie with some cookies, saying "look what I found!". Not thinking I thought she had just brought them to me.
Nope! She had been sure to eat one first. :) What a little stinker.

Halloween 2010

10.30.2010

Because Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, most people around here went trick-or-treating on Saturday, so we followed suit. We all got together and had dinner at my parents and all the grandkids went trick-or-treating together.

Hallie was having a rough day, so we had a few little meltdowns like this.
But she made up for it with cute smiles like this.
What a cute little cowgirl we have. This little girls LOVES horses right now, so we thought it would be quite appropriate, and Grandma made her a darling dress to wear.
These three girls love to play together!

Carving Pumpkins at BYU

10.23.2010

Every once in a while we try to get together with all of Eric's students he works with at BYU. So they all decided they wanted to have a pizza and pumpkin carving party, so we did. :)

Hallie loved all the attention

Eric's Birthday

9.30.2010

Eric's birthday was pretty mellow this year, he had work and school as usual, so it made it hard to do anything too exciting besides making a yummy dinner. But he was thrilled to get his birthday present that he has been wanting forever.

And no, it wasn't the chocolate milk. :)
