A Dress Grandma Made

4.15.2012

Grandma Lorie has been busy, busy, and after making Audrey's baptism dress, she made Hallie this cute little Spring dress!  She loves it, and told everyone at church that her Grandma made it for her. It was darling!

Little Girls Sleepover

4.8.2012

All the grandkids in school had Spring Break starting the day after Easter, so they all got to take turns sleeping over at  Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The little girls got to sleep over Easter night, and I think Hallie may have been more excited about that then Easter itself.

Luckily, they all slept pretty good I'm told.  Though it was kind of weird to wake up to a quiet/empty house, but it was nice to have a morning to myself too.

The next day these girls played and played, and did all sorts of projects.  Here they are painting.

What fun they had! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

Easter 2012

4.8.2012

Hallie has definitely figured this holiday thing out, and what is coming next and so on. So it makes each holiday a little more exciting.  Easter though she was counting down too, from before St. Patrick's Day, so she was thrilled when the day came!  She had it down,  "First Patrick's Day, then Grandpa's Birthday, then Easter, then my baby." (I think it's funny that she always says "my baby")

Her Easter basket.  Hallie is seriously in love with Robin Hood right now.  Kind of random, but it's been fun.  But the Easter Bunny had to do some searching to find him, I guess Robin Hood isn't in high demand right now.
But look how happy this little girl was.  It made all the searching worth it.

She also still loves Ariel, I think it's a red head thing. :)
An Easter breakfast of "colorful cereal," what a happy camper we had!
We don't have church til one o'clock, so it was nice to have some time to get ready and not be so rushed on Easter.

So we took some pictures in Hallie's Easter dress even though she was being pretty silly.

Though because we have one o'clock church we hustled home and up to my parents to be with my family for our big Easter gathering.

Here is everyone receiving their instructions for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Lined up by age, and who got to start first.

And off they went.

Everyone gathered around after making sure everyone had one of each color, so that they could get their prize to go with it.

I wish we had a picture of this little girl's face about 2 seconds earlier, when she realized it was money she was ecstatic!  She is saving it to go to Discovery Gateway in Salt Lake.

Picking Prizes

One of the prizes everyone got was a new book!  Hallie got the new Fancy Nancy book, and needed to read it right then!

Miss Whitney

Emi & Alisa both read the story with us. (I'm not quite 36 weeks here, and kind of feel huge)

Audrey reading her new book

And Hallie was enthralled with this leaf for quite a while.

We had a great Easter, and had a lot of fun.  We hope yours was great too!

12 More Days...

4.2.2012

Our second Little Miss on 3D Ultrasound.
(I can't decide how I feel about the 3D)

As of April 2nd, they figured she was 6 lbs 14 oz, had a head full of hair, and is looking just like her big sister, and was trying to suck on her hand/fingers/thumb like her sister.  We may just have a mini Hallie! We will have to wait and see I guess.  Because of her size they have me scheduled for an induction on May 2nd...only 12 more days!

Macey's Easter Hunt

4.6.2012

A couple of days before Easter, my mom called and said that Macey's Grocery Store was having a big Easter Hunt until 3 that afternoon.  So even though it was pretty close to Hallie's naptime, we headed over, and we were glad we did!

They met you at the door with a BINGO sheet with 9 different animals to find with either a prize, or something to do at each animal.

But first, everyone needed their bunny ears and noses!  Hallie really was excited I promise. :)
At each animal you had to make the animal sound to get to do the activity or get an egg with at treat.  This was probably Hallie's favorite stop...decorating cookies!
And of course she chose pink frosting!
It reallly was a fun little thing to go do.  Plus, we must have hit people's lunch time because it wasn't even that crazy, which is always an extra bonus!
