But, today Hallie has just been so funny! I just had to share a few of the gems from the last few days.
These pictures are from my phone, so ignore the poor quality, but I just love this picture. When we are at home, or really anywhere I will let her, she lives in her princess dresses and tu-tus! She is one happy girl when she can be all dressed up like a princess.

-As I got out of the shower this morning, Hallie ran into the bathroom and said "Oh, no!", I looked down only to see that her arm was black striped. Knowing that she had found the sharpie I put her in the bathtub, which was on the cold side because I had just showered, and we scrubbed and scrubbed. As I'm scrubbing she looks and me and said very sincerely "why did I do that?", which she continually asked during the scrubbing process. You can assume how the rest of the conversation went. :)

-We were lucky enough to be given some tickets to the Orem Owlz baseball game tonight, so even though we all probably should have been in bed we decided to go. On the way home Hallie was asking if the sun was going down or up, we obviously explained that it was going down, to which very seriously she asked, "is the sun taking a long nap?". She's a thinker for sure!

-Before the ballgame I asked Hallie if we should do her hair, and she kept saying no to anything I could think of. So I finally asked, "well what do you think we should do then?", and she replied "I just want to have long hair like Rapunzel today." Huh, if it were only that simple. :)
-On our way home Eric decided he would really like an ice cream from Macey's so he just ran in while Hallie and I waited. I asked Hallie if she was a cutie patootie, and she replied and said "no, that's a movie, that's rat-patootie!" (aka Ratatouille). :)
Hallie is very into blowing "flowers," something I'm sure all of our neighbors really appreciate.
-A couple days ago Hallie and I were reading the book The Hiccupotomus (which is highly recommended, it's super cute). It is a story about a hippopotamus who has the hiccups and it makes up a bunch of silly words. Well there is a part where is says, "and he tripped the elephantapede," as in elephant and centipede. Well I go to turn the page, and I am instantly stopped by Hallie telling me to "wait, wait, wait!", then she asked "why did the elephant pee?". I couldn't figure out what she was talking about for a long time, but then when I figured out that she thought it said "the elephant peed", I couldn't help but laugh.-Occasionally we'll ask Hallie if she is a big girl or if she is a baby, (why we ask, I don't know) and one day out of the blue she responded, "no, I'm just a little girl," and that has been her response ever since.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share. I know it's always more funny when it's your own kid, but she has made us laugh a lot lately. We are so lucky to have our Little Miss.
