A Night with Whitney & Audrey

We got to spend Friday night with Whitney and Audrey, while Adam and Erica went to the temple with Adrian. We ate pizza, went and got ice cream at Sub Zero (where they freeze your own personal ice cream), took a bath in Grandma's big tub, watched movies, played the Wii, had snacks til we couldn't eat anymore, and stayed up late. Thanks for playing with us girls! It was a fun night!

A Rainy Sunday

What do you do on a rainy Sunday? We take pictures! (okay we do that every Sunday) This time Hallie even got to wear her new dress. Thank you Grandpa Dennis & Michelle! We love it, and the little sweater is perfect for a rainy Sunday.

In the last week or so it seems like things have clicked in Hallie's little mind. She now crawls, instead of inch worming, waves, and claps. And tonight after we said family prayers we looked at her and she had pulled herself up to standing in her crib. She now has three teeth too!
Here is her sort of clapping. :)

Oregon: The Finale

Okay...I finally got the motivation to finish up our Oregon trip. (now that it has been almost a month! :)) There are A TON of pictures, so enjoy. These are more for my record than anything else, because I do not scrapbook this is the next best thing.

Saturday: May 16
After spending the night in Vernonia with Clayton, Corrie, and the girls, we headed out bright and early to the Oregon Zoo. It was a fun day, though it was very hot and crowded.

All ready to go

Here we go!

In the eagles nest

The bear kept pacing back and forth over and over again

We were all wishing we were the polar bear, we all wanted to jump in with him
In the Polar Bear den

Cooling off at lunch
Hallie LOVED the elephants, she thought they were the greatest thing ever

BABY ELEPHANT!
Hallie even likes pretend elephants. :) Hallie was bouncing up and down on this elephant, and a cute little British lady told me we better buy her a horse because she had a natural rhythm of a rider. So maybe we'll have a rider in our future. :)

the fat meerkats
Look what Hallie brought home from the zoo! An elephant of her very own.
After the zoo, we went to Teann's soccer game, where we did roast in the sun. But it was fun to see her play. What a little hustler, she is quick! She is a good little soccer player!
Then we went back Banks to get ready for Stake Conference. We were able to go with Jim and Jeni to hear Elder Ballard speak. He did a fantastic job, as always. What else would you expect from an apostle? :) We got to meet him afterwards too. Though I think he thought Hallie was a boy. He looked at me and said "raise em up to be a missionary," and I just said "we will Elder Ballard." Oh well, she was in her jammies and I guess men just don't pay attention to what color they are wearing no matter who they are. :) What a cute man though.
Sunday: May 17
We attended the general session of Stake Conference, then came home and had a big BBQ with everyone. It was really fun just to hang out with everyone, and not feel like we were running around crazy.

Monday: May 18
We got up and headed out to take some pictures, then off to the airport we went.
Tuesday: May 19
We all woke up in our own beds. It was such a great trip, we were sure sad to leave. But it is always nice to be home.
