Yum! Yum! & then some!

Hallie had here 6 month check-up today, and we got the go ahead to start her on solids! She was very happy about this. :) So for dinner tonight, Hallie got to use her Christmas presents for their intended purpose, and she got her first taste of rice cereal. Hallie ate it like a pro! She didn't even spit it back out! I was quite impressed. She must take after her parents :) Now, I'm realizing we should have video taped it. Oh well! You'll get the photo story instead.

Waiting....

Here we go!First taste.

She was quite enthralled with the spoon.

Is it really all gone?
(and yes, it really was ALL gone!)
...and then some!
Other 6 month check-up information:

Weight: 15 lbs 13 oz.
50th percentile

Length: 25.5 inches
(we don't think that's right, but whatever)
50th percentile

Head: 44 cm
90th percentile
(basically she's one smart cookie!)

She can now start eating solids, but still no milk, and a few other things. And lucky for us we can call and cancel our appointment at Primary Children's Hospital! YAY!

Oh she is so cute! How exciting to start solids. I thought that was so fun. And I have been meaning to ask you what happened with her belly button? Did she have an umbilical granuloma too? Halle's is being so stubborn! We have had to get it burned off three times already, and may have to do it again.
