While in Oregon, Hallie enjoyed her 9 month birthday...we even had a barbecue that day to celebrate! I cannot believe how quickly she is growing up, I know we say that every month, but months seriously seem to go by faster and faster. But no matter what, she'll always be our baby. Anyway, here is the rundown...
Hallie at 9 months...
-has learned how to sing, and loves music
-talks up a storm
-definitely understands the word 'no' but doesn't always follow it
-can get anywhere she wants by scooting, spinning, lunging, rolling, or any combination of them (but no crawling yet)
-has one tooth, and at least one more coming in
-can fake laugh, and real laugh (both of which are very entertaining)
-has been on her first round trip airplane trip
-responds to her name, I guess she has been able to do that for awhile though
-does not like men with facial hair, we discovered this in Oregon
-loves kids
-loves to shred paper, this is the common use for our program at church on Sundays
-likes dogs, except when they lick her face
-had her first trip to the beach and has put her feet in the Pacific Ocean
-has taken her first trip to the zoo
-met Elder M. Russell Ballard
-loves the water, except recently she hasn't liked her bath. I think it is because she slipped and bumped her head not too long ago, who knows though.
-loves to go to the park and swing
-had her first trip to the allergist
-doesn't like to be in her car seat any longer than absolutely necessary
-is getting to be quite particular about where she will sleep, only her crib or Grandma's pack 'n play will do, or occasionally her car seat, and only with the mandatory fluffy blanket
-loves to sleep with her face covered up
-still loves the outdoors
-figured out how to put snacks in her mouth all by herself
-loves books, and turns the pages
-will not drink out of a sippy cup, but does quite well out of a real cup with someone holding the cup
-is very observant
-can sit up from laying down
-is such a sweetheart
-has so many people who love her

I loved reading through this list...it's pretty amazing that she has met Elder Ballard! And I love how she sings and talks. She is too cute!
