Sunday Sandbox!

Hallie has recently fallen in love with the sandbox at my parents house!  She asks to go play in the sand all the time.  So after church one day, we went up to their house, just so she could play in the sand!

 Little did I know that it would keep Eric equally entertained, for just as long, if not longer!

 I planted this tree from an acorn in the first grade.  Cool huh?  Unfortunately it didn't like being moved a couple of summers ago, so we're thinking it's a goner. So in case you were curious, that is not quite 20 years of a tree growing from a seed/nut.

 Hallie and Eric played until it was dark outside.

Eric made a turtle.

And Hallie made Rapunzel's tower with Rapunzel trapped inside. 

It was a great way to spend a few hours on Sunday evening, and we had a little girl who was definitely ready for bed when we got home.
