Last summer I debated training for and running a half marathon, but I just didn't ever commit to it. But since I'm officially done with school, I think I needed a "project" so Angela and I are officially training for a half marathon on July 10th. I know that it will be hard, and that there will be days that I don't want to go out on my runs, but it will be a challenge and will push me to my limits. I have always wanted to be a "runner" but haven't ever really had enough motivation to keep with it. But it helps having Ang there, it definitely makes you commit more, and stay committed. It also gives us a good excuse to get together and gab. :) So I really hope that this is the start of a good habit. We started our formal training schedule on Monday!

This morning I looked on Goodreads and saw that you had added Hal Higdon's Marathon Training book and wondered what you were training for. Now I know. :)
Where is the run on July 10th? That's coming up soon! I've been thinking about doing one in August. We'll see ...
Good for you! As soon as I can start running (I hate that 6 week postpartum rule...) I'm going to be training for one. We'll see how long it takes me to get ready :/
WA2GO. I'm so excited for you. You will be a great runner. It's fun.
