Since Hallie spent so much time at my parents while I was in class, and there is no way that I could have done it without them, we decided to get them a little thank you gift. After much debate we settled on a Build-a-Bear with a recording of Hallie's sweet little voice. It started off well, Hallie chose a cute little puppy dog for Grandma and Grandpa and we started to go through the process.

...and then we had a breakdown! A MAJOR breakdown, complete with a full on tantrum.
So, if you ever need to know you can take the recording stuff home, and come back later......which we did after a lot of time trying to get Hallie to cooperate.

Then we were off to choose clothes and a name for the dog. When we were sitting at the computers and I asked Hallie what we were going to name the dog. She looked at me and very matter of factly said "Woof." So Woof is his name, and we think it's pretty cute. Luckily the work to get Hallie to cooperate to get her to record was well worth it, my mom and dad loved it. Thank you Mom and Dad! There is no way I could have made it through school without you and your help!

What a fun gift idea for saying thank you! It made me laugh that Hallie had a tantrum...and that she named the dog Woof. How cute.
